Located in the Castelletto district overlooking the historic center of Genoa, Nimbo Apartment is a renovation project that balances memory and contemporary living. Original architectural elements graniglia flooring, cast-iron radiators, bay windows, and ceiling stuccoes are carefully preserved and reinterpreted through a restrained, minimalist language. Light becomes the core design material, guiding movement and shaping space through a continuous luminous ring. The project restores the home’s original character while introducing a calm, measured atmosphere rooted in context, history, and subtle modernity.
